I stumbled across this gem while going through old Japan pics as I relive my ramen eating adventures there. This perfectly prepared Kobe steak was part of a kaiseki meal I had at a ryokan in Kinosaki, a noted spa town on the Japan Sea side of Hyogo prefecture in 2008. This beautiful beef was part of a larger meal, which I will post in its entirety soon, but this shot got my juices flowing and mouth watering this morning, so I just had to share it now!
